Blinded and dumbfound

He wakes up soaked in his sweat, and looks for water. It takes a few minutes for him to relax. He is again troubled by this dreadful nightmare. He is annoyed why he gets this kind of nightmares.

In his nightmare, he is up above the mountains. On the shiny snow, he walks slowly along a white woman and suddenly a bright yellow light shines up in the sky with a loud bang causing the snow to slide and he falls into the avalanche. The woman screams loudly and then he wakes up everytime.

It's 3:00 am, he goes to the tap for a bath and then packs his bamboo basket with a few clothes and utensils and little bit of beaten rice. Then, he starts his journey towards north....

Twist in tale

Inside a twin otter plane flying towards Lukla, a couple of British people were chatting, and others were just normally just relaxing in their sits. And, most of the other passengers were Nepali guides and crew members of trekking companies. 

And, the British lady yelled loudly at the white man,"an euphonious keeps you smart, an euphonious book is better than your high school teacher."

The explosion

Meanwhile, at the secret lab in the middle of nowhere, everybody was ready to see the result of their experiment. Everything was fine until the siren started to scream. And, a robotic toned sound was directing everybody to evacuate immediately to the safety.

And, the countdown has begun .. they had only 15 minutes left and the robotic toned sound again started to countdown till 0. 14:59......14:58.....14:57.... and so on.

Everyone was trying their best to be the first to get out of there and the outcome was total chaos. Every door was jammed between the doors. Everyone could have been rescued easily if all of them followed the instructions properly but they all panicked and now, all of them were in trouble.

Everyone except the chief  of the lab and the faculty of the experiment were trying to run away. But, they had put their life in it and they were ready to go down with the ship. There were about 1000 scientists in that lab who were panicking and fighting for their life.

After the countdown, a bright blinding light dispersed everywhere turning everything into dust around it and the ripples of this explosion reached even the surface of the earth giving a hint of slight quake.

Nowhere to go

As days go by, he gets tired of his routine and wonders if anything is going to change in his life. He works his ass off everyday so that he can eat full and stay alive.

Go to farm, plough the field, cook the food, eat, do dishes etc are his daily chores. And, he has to go about a mile away from his hut down the hill to fetch a bucket of water and he does this countless times everyday. This is how they survive in those hellacious hills up there. No road, no shopping malls, no water supply through a well organised system, no electricity.

Next month is september, the trekking season is about to begin so, he'll have to move to Lukla to get a trek.That time, Khumbu will be packed with tourists from all the places, a very good time to make some good money.

Now is the time to get a break and see what's next? is his thought.

Time Warp Zone

Somewhere in U.S.A. , a place where everything seemed life less and nothing but sand was there till horizon and beyond. And, in the middle, a secret facility building's entrance was there protected by barbed wire fence. This building was totally underground and experiments on physics were done here that they said will be able to create a portal that opens to another dimension.

A giant spinning metallic device is placed in a chamber powered by electricity enough to keep a city as big as New York lightened up for 3 months minimum.Everybody in there were wearing a special suit that protected them from radiation and residue from the experiment.This project was kept top secret by the government and only those knew about this project who needed to know. The facility's construction was more than 30 miles below ground level so that if anything goes wrong during experiment, no harm is done.

A blonde middle aged man, about 6'3" tall, looks pretty fit comes out of the chamber with a big grin on his face and congratulates everybody and announces, "Phase 1's complete and it looks like the experiment is 90% complete from here. It's a great achievement for our civilization. And, we don't know yet what possibilities this achievement can offer us in the future."

The Beginning

At about 12:13 am in the middle of the night, he wakes up suddenly in his bed. He is trembling extremely, not because of cold but of the nightmare he just had. It felt so real he thought, that he was just about to die at that moment.

He had been having these nightmares for a long time now but he doesn't know the reason why.

The place is in the mountains of Nepal, far away from the noise of the urban cities. Here, he lives alone in a small cottage. He works as a porter in the treks to Himalayas during the trekking season and works at his small farm at off season.

He looks very old though he is only 31. His skin has turned black because of the brutal cold winds of the Himalayas. He is about 5'3" tall. And, he wears the same old jacket and trousers all the time and his feet are bare all the time.

Though, there is a huge smile on his face all the time. And, while at work, everyone loves him for his chivalry inspite of his unforgiving looks.

But, nobody knows that his life is going to be turned upside down in a few days.
